Thanks for the info, and after getting it off and trying to compress the booster I found that it had quite a bit of pressure and was quite firm so I've come to a casual and untested conclusion that it must be the MC. I'm not very happy with that idea but sometimes the truth hurts! Now I just have to take the time to test it out and get it replaced or rebuilt. Updates will come as I have them!

For protection in the future do you think a simple heat blanket like those for starters would solve the problem?

And thanks for the compliments on the truck, I've become extremely attached over the years that I've had it!
