Mine has been there since the blazer was new, so it's what everyone considers the original design that dealers installed back then. So I reinstalled it when I restored the interior, otherwise I probably wouldn't run one.
Since yours appears to be custom, I'd start from scratch and just build to suit. Here are a couple pictures none the less.
