Our JT has 9" front wheels on stock arms and disks. So, I think 10" wheels is just a question of gettint the backspacing right on the money. Both Rob Phillips and Mike Hickman's Hotchis prepped trucks run 10" fronts with stock sheet metal. - tire clearance may stop you from lowering the truck as much as you want. The new project, (soon to be posting about, the "Reaper") will have raised and slightly reshaped wheel openings, profiles close to a 740 BMW, with the flat lip of the C-10. At appx. 2 1/2" higher than the stock openings, and 1" per side wider, we will have our cake and eat it too. A wider than stock suspension track, 315 ft tire, and lower stance. - inner wheel wells? - we'll see.
