yes but those chargers are 5k to 6k not cheap at all i can do a procharger set up for $3500.00 turbos are up there also, it all comes down to which looks cooler and so far most votes are for the twin t's |
If you got the cash its hard to compete with the final numbers a custom twin set up is capable of producing. Likew you know I have seen several that really spiral out of control once you dive into the custom header route. Eiher way I would probably go through and forge a 5.3 if your going for anything more than say 400-450 to the wheels.
I have seen guys flip stock manifolds and build cheap turbo set ups but something tells me your not going that route.
Personally I think a procharger will suck on a stock 5.3. I have driven a couple and at safe boost levels the fun is over before it really starts.
No matter what route you go being blown is the best..lol
