I have to say it looks like a legitamate low miles truck to me.
The poster has a lot of evidence to show that it is period for 73.

I understand where you guys are coming from with the scratches on the dash but it looks like that truck was used for storage over the years, the scratches could be from cramming things in and out of the passenger floor board for the last 40 years.

It is a really well customized truck for being driven only 2 years though, well worth $2000.
