My separates are rated at 140W or so RMS, my coax 6.5's are more like 80W RMS. Don't get hung up on the power rating, focus on what your budget is and what is the best SOUNDING speaker you can get for the price. Listen to at least a few different ones, as many as you can if possible. Find out what the applied power is to the pair you are listening to, then go from there.
I love Polk and Infinity mids/highs. I had some 6.5 separate MB Quart's in my Toyota that were incredible. I am not that loyal when it comes to electronic brands, so I base my purchase on what something sounds like, not who made it.
