The bracket hits the manifold before it gets up to the head of the bolt. I can send a pic of the issue tomorrow night. It really helps support both. I have seen guys delete this bracket with no problems as far as I know.


The kit includes RH AC bracket, AC R-4 pump R134 or R12, LH Alt-power steering bracket, 100A Alt, power steering pump, belt tensioner, fan clutch, fan blade, clutch mounting studs & nuts, water pump pulley, crankshaft pulley w/bolts, braces and nuts & bolts.
You will need a new water pump, belt, and pig tail for alt.

I think I can make this work, cut the U shape off the tab and add a brace. Give me a shipping quote when you get a chance. .... Thanks Ed.
