We used a scuff pad, not a heavy abrasive wheel. I don't disagree with you, nor am I trying to discredit you in any way. The guy that helped me with this is a highly trained and certified mechanic. He does stuff like this on a daily basis.

I will double check with a machinist before bolting them back on, though. Thanks for the input.
