i've said this before, if you do one modification on your truck, shave the cowl vent.
water and leaves in the cowl vent cause many of the cab rust problems.
the added bonus is that you can do this...
and then this...
kicks are easy if you wrap them in vinyl or carpet, i have no doubt that a set of 6.5'' would fit in there.
i have a 3'' fascia on bottom of my dash, without the fascia you could put 8'' speakers in there
