BlueJeep, Thank you. Yes, I am using 1018 sheet metal. I am using MIG. I have a TIG but need to get some smaller tungsten for doing sheet metal. Just have not had time to mess with the TIG on sheet metal too. I would have loved to go to one of those sheet metal workshops you went to. I love doing sheet metal.

oldman3, Thank you. It would have been a lot easier to just fill that step in the hood! At least the filler would have not warped the hood! I got most of it out just a little work on it yet, like the front edge.

av8tr33337,Thank you. I must confess it was not my idea. Ironworks and Nsane were the ones that I saw do it, I just made the one for this truck.
