The 194 bulbs are a little brighter than the stock 161 general illumination bulbs in our trucks. You can also put the even brighter 168 bulbs that are used in the indicator positions into the general illumination locations to make the lighting even brighter. I have done this to every older vehicle I have owned and it makes a big difference.
161 bulb output - 13 lumens
194 bulb output - 25 lumens
168 bulb output - 38 lumens
These numbers are for incandescent bulbs. I would assume they are similar light output for the same numbered LED replacement bulb but they could be way different.
