Haha- well, I had intended on running it stock at first and getting it going on the cheap. After a compression check, I decided I wouldn't be comfortable without a rebuild. Now, I'm having trouble not going crazy with the 'while I'm at its'. I already got the 799 heads, which are the same as the LS6/LS2 243 casting. They will raise static compression to 10.4:1 and are among the best flowing cathedral port heads. Was planning on TBSS or LS3 exhaust manifolds, but with what theyre going for, long tubes aren't much more money. Now I'm considering a cam as well- we'll see where it goes...
