Pretty sure if you went to a 16" rim, the dog dish hubs you have wouldnt fit them because they are for a half ton. I have done a lot of research on this issure here lately as i have been looking for some for my 1 ton. The 16" wheel are designed for the 12" hub caps and the 15" rim has the 10" or 10.5" hub cap, cant remember now. I think it was the same across the board for all the big 3, so the 15" wheel will work with the caps you have and the 16" will not.
