I've contemplated a 5.3L swap, in fact had one ready but it went into another project. I'm good in the drivetrain department though, just needs some attention. Low mileage 350 with heads, cam, hydraulic lifters, rolller rockers, etc. New 700R4 with some upgrades and a 3.73 rear end (non-posi). Mileage is ok, but I'm still sorting out the lock-up. It locks in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th which drives me nuts.
