If the shaft heading to the steering box is solid with no rag joint at the bottom, you may be able to buy a Borgeson joint that fits the splines on the bottom of the steering column, and the other end matches the lower shaft splines. And if the distance between the end of the two shafts if too far for a standard u-joint, and vibration reducer may fit perfectly in the same spot.
