I don't know how safe it is to stack shims on lift blocks. You might check with the lift company.

The 2wd transmissions have a long tail shaft on them. The 4wd is basically the 2wd without the tail. The t-case sits in place of the tail. I'm guessing that your transmissions overall length is maybe an inch or two longer than the 4wd case & t-case.
