Re: Power Steering Adapter Plates

1) You will need a '68-'87 K series, or '88-'91 V series steering box and the pitman arm.

2) You will need the correct draglink for the front axle you are running.

3) You will need a power steering pump, brackets and pulleys for the engine you are running.

4) You will need the appropriate belt to drive the pump, and also the pressure and return lines from the pump to the box.

5) You may need a new rag joint, depending on whether you get a good one with the box or not.

6) There is bound to be some miscellaneous nuts, bolts, washers, clamps, fittings, etc. that you may need.

7) You will need an adapter plate to mount the box to the frame. The tube and flange will simplify the connection to your original steering column shaft.
