For clarification/information - the headers installed by the PO were too close to the frame rails and either the frame rails or the headers would need extensive modifications to properly fit so we opted to go back to the factory ram horn exhaust manifolds. The truck has flowmaster mufflers on it now. We won’t know exactly what the sound quality will be with this setup until we get his truck back from the shop. My son is concerned that it will be too quite (he definitely wants to disturb the peace – oh to be sixteen again – LOL). I think he will be pleased with the setup as is, but if not, he has my permission to slap some glass packs on it and this is the reason for his questions and I guess mine too.
