yeah it's about 10-14 at a curb idle. it wouldn't be the first time i've have sbc with low oil pressure. it's one thing i really don't like about gm engines. A high volume pump is something i put on even stock engines. that along with running a filter with a check valve really helps on gms.
and i found this one out a few months ago..watch your oil filter, don't fall for the hype. if your running one of thous high end race filters like purple or k&n, they can clog up after a new build. the guy at the speed shop kinda got upset when i blew an engine he built..twice...both times under 5000miles.. with purple filters(no they wil not honer their promise to replace your engine).he said "if you need to filter a 20 micro particle out of your engine oil quit pouring cocaine in the crankcase". he an ars, but i see his point. and hes the best builder around here .
