That should work.
Back in the 70's when I was doing front end work at a Pontiac dealership in Texas GM sold a number of A frame bushings with different density of the rubber for different applications.
The Trans AM had a different bushing than a base Firebird with a six or small V8 did. If you went to a parts house they listed one bushing for all models.
The difference between lower bushings may be that the later models had metric bolts rather than standard bolts. Take a look on the markings on the bolts to figure that out.
