It has a nice sound from what I've heard so far in a few short runs. Most importantly it doesn't have the ricer-fart-can sound you hear out of so many Honduhs. But when I rev it, it does say "I'm packin somethin other than stock." I also have a "racing muffler" (was actually used on a race car and is titanium/$300) that fits the exact dims as the Flowmaster that's on it now ...for when I want to go a little more toward the dark-side
