someone mentioned to me it could the the intake manifold gasket and.
that year 03 was famous for doing it btw its got the 5.3 in it sorry didnt mention it earlier
is this ture could this be the problem now my guages are all good oil pressuer etc good volt reading

Clean the throttle body, ALL DBW truck/SUV's are bad about low idle with a dirty throttle body. Clean mine every year.
ALL 99-06 4.3/5.3/6.0 truck engines are prone to intake gasket failure, If over 150K replace them as a maintenance item. Get the GOOD Fel-Pro ones.....This is a real cheap price....
