Sorry to hear you are having carb problems.
Make sure you get your rebuilt quadrajet from someone who has a good reputation that way you dont have
another problem with it.
Maybe even someone on the boards here with a good reputation might have one they rebuilt correctly or know someone who has one that is rebuilt correctly to sell.
Not just anyone can rebuild one and do it right.
Its just like anything else there is the right way and the wrong way.
Ya know you could also just get a rebuild kit for that Holley
