Overdrive is probably the most common retro addition to any classic regardless of engine used.
25-30% gain in fuel economy is what most will experience. That's an easy 3-4 mpg in your case and would put you right at what most brand new SUV's are getting nowadays,,,,not too shabby
Almost makes these new fuel injection engines not appear as efficient as they are believed to be..sure does make you wonder.
