If the motor is out, I highly recommend (if you're considering it) to go for it now....
With the drivetrain out of the way, it's just 14 bolts & a weekends labor (w/a dirty x-member). Last one I did I started on Sat morning & had it tacked up for welding by 6pm Sat night. Prob could of had it welded up by 6pm Sat night but it took hours to clean the road-grime/grease build-up off all surfaces for quality welds.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
