Re: My '67 Fleetside C10 renew

More snake killin today, but one bit back! Blaster called today done . Stuff looks sweet but haulin a$$ home one inner decided to ditch the Crummy! Out the back at 50mph - damn! I thought it'd be thrashed but I can bring it back.

Why does everything take longer than you'd think?? That "good" door needed more work than I thought. The dimples or whatever you call them, where the flat-head door latch screws go were all pulled out. Had to weld, grind, dremel them back into shape. One of the door panel square-nut thingys was missing so I ground a nut down to fit and welded that in, found a small rot-hole in the corner, bla-bla-bla I'm three+ hours in and still prolly have two to go. Pulled that fender out that I thought had a "tiny" spot of rot. It's really a good chunk of the lower front corner under the battery thats kinda crusty. Prolly 8hrs is all! I got a good 5hrs in tonight and after chow just had to stop and clean up. All the tools wiped and away, cords and hoses wound up, benches swept and a broom down! I'll sleep better tonight.

Tomorrow we're building the tent so I can primer and paint the black stuff. That'd be rad support, inners, hinges, a few other small items and WHEELS!!!. Boy will take them to school to mount and balance them BFGs if they're not rotten yet!

Check back tomorrow dudes - more snakes to kill!
