It was close to working but I wanted to be safe then sorry after truck is painted. As for mounting on the fenders we had to build the fender out like some what of a spacer and then we had to move one mounting hole so that the hinge would bolt up. The best part is they are a little smaller then the factory hinges so therefore there won't be any tire clearance problems
