Again... you can drive it that way... but you'll prolly want a stall of at least 2,500 RPM's. The Torker 2 makes power staring at 2,500 RPM's.
I ran an open plane manifold on my previous street/strip rig (a Weiand X-CELerator). I will say since using the dual plane on this street/strip rig... I like it way better.
