A buddy of mine has the LT1/4l60e in his 49 panel truck. The thing is heavy and not aerodynamic at all. He gets 18 mpg, but drives pretty fast (85-90 mph) on trips. This is with 373 gears and dual air conditioners blowing! I think that 18-20 is a reasonable guess for our trucks, if driving normally.
