As for the reversed remote button issue, you most likely have the blue and green wire mixed up at either solenoid (Most likely the drivers side 5 wire solenoid). It's easy to mix the two up, they are pretty close in color. Each unit is bench tested before it's shipped out! So I'd just take a closer look at each solenoid and make sure that the blue wire from the solenoid is plugged into the blue wire on the harness, and that the green wire from the solenoid is plugged into the green wire on the harness; on each side!

VH thanks for the info. I will check the wires when I get home from work on Friday and keep you posted.
