Re: 87' 4x4

Big Tex, I still haven't messed with the e-brake. Maybe super glue will work. ha,ha

I did as much as I could over the holidays. I got the exhaust done and windshield and wipers in. I got the Silverado emblems and bot tie emblem for Christmas. I also got the bed wood, but haven't had a chance to put it in yet.

Here are some new pics.

I found the military shackles I was missing for the front bumper.

I had them run the exhaust out the stock location. I'm not sure if I'm crazy about the way it looks. Maybe it will look right when I get the rear bumper.

I have been driving it around a little. It runs good, but occasionally it will die and then it's hard to turn over. After it sits a minute it starts right back up. I am wondering if I have some kind of vapor lock issue. I don't have the charcoal canister installed. The vent line was plugged, but I unplugged it and it still died. I also have a homemade fuel filler hose because they don't sell them anymore for stepsides. The last time it did it I took off the gas cap and drove it home. It hasn't died again yet. Anyone have any ideas?
