I crashed a bike about 5 years ago while I was in the middle of a build, so I know how you feel. I had trouble kneeling for almost a year. Halfway through that year of recovery I sold the truck and lost a lot of money, I was really disgusted because I wasn't making any progress and it was taking up space.

Good news, I started rebuilding the bike a few weeks after I wrecked (while still on crutches) and I was riding within two months.
