Thanks for the vote of confidence Dan. I'm debating ordering the rockers from Tabco and scrapping these LMC jobs.. even though they fit great. I just hate to have to spread filler on that top part that will be getting stepped on often. :-/ My cab was blasted a couple months ago and not one sign of rust so far... When it comes to the epoxy that chemical bond I mentioned, you definitely want for a long lasting paint job. I'm no pro, but that's what guys I know personally who are pro's tell me. My paint and primers are all PPG brand and that's what the shop said too. Yes you can spray the epoxy and wait two years to paint or poly primer it, then scuff but it will never chemically bond to the epoxy like it was intended.
