What im getting at is if you hooked a speedo to a tach drive do you think you could ever make it measure close ??? Ie 2000 rpm showing as maby 20 or 30 mph on the speedo.

You might be able to. The speedo head should be a 1:1 and the injection pump speed is half of engine speed. If you used a little gear box to double the cable speed before the speedo, you probably can get it set up. I'm pretty sure places like PATC sell the gear boxes like this.
