With all due respect .. why are you not hooking up the trailer yet? Seriously, if you can get it for $2500 with a clean title and the ole 307 will still turn over, bro.. buy it.

Not sure if you know, but a 307 is just a 327 with a 283 crank. Rebuild it, throw a 327 crank and rods in it and it's an easy 331 (is that right? 327 +.0030 ?) Vortec heads, 280 or so cam and an RPM intake, 700R4 and you're in the 300hp range with 15mpg or so. It would make a really good driver ! and you're right where you need to be for parts, troubleshooting, upgrades, whatever you want ..

Go get it .. One owner, brakes are not a big deal man. Rockers are easy. Get it..
