It's ok Marv.. Food for thought and our discussion.. Head work done at a reasonable cost of <$1,000 included

New LS3 sodium filled valves turned down from 2.165 to 2.10
Wore out bronze guides removed and new powdered metal guides installed. Requires cnc to cut the PM guides
Valve job and combustion chamber clean up from valve job
Shipping to my door.

Seems very reasonable to me. Heck a ti valve alone would cost me 2.5x what I just spent, and... They weigh a whopping 1g less


Btw, since you brought up the heavy Hyd lifter.. I thought I would share the following links with you. This heavy lifter is going all the way to 8,300rpm on the 1-2 shift and 7,600-7,800 on the 2-3 shift. Check out both links and the videos on YouTube (you will find links in the threads).
