I'm thinking of building one out of a Suzuki GS, which is shaft drive.
I found these things at
http://www.ljtrikes.com/trikeparts.htm. I've tried reaching out to them, but it seems they are no longer in business, or at least very hard to get a hold of.
It looks easy enough, grab a larger cc shaft drive ATV rear and, then modify your swing arm to bolt on the rear end.
Keep in kind though that most ATV's have live axles in the rear, so when you turn on paved roads, the tires will be turning the same speed and cause them to fight each other.
The bike I'm building is not really for daily street use, more just for fun now and then.
This axle also looks to be a live axle because of the single rear brake. It had a differential, it would have brakes on each wheel.
