I haven't used the granny for anything but hauling. Just the gate from 1-2 and the high rpms at 65. I'm just looking for reliability for working and drivability on the highway. I'm doing a body off next summer. Going to find the right stuff befor she's tore down to make reassembly faster. This ole girl will be the last truck I buy. I want to set it up right the first time. Ill do some hunting for a nv4500. Is that a cast iron case or aluminum?
