My platform hitch happens to be homemade, but the key is to get the receiver portion to be positioned directly behind the license plate.
Then I used a flip up plate mount (this one happens to be for a '74 Chevelle) to allow the ball mount stub to be inserted through a notch in the license plate bracket -

Do you have any picture of the mounting points? Just curious how you fit it in there with the leaf spring hanger and bumper brackets.
