Ok I have a question and I know someone out there will have the answer. My hood hinges are bad and I was going to have them rebuilt, however I do not know if they are originals or aftermarket. I know the aftermarket hinges are not the same and have heard they will not last very long. How can I tell if my hinges are original GM or aftermarket. If they are aftermarket I dont want to spend the cash getting them rebuilt.
