carpet installed!

Darn it was HOT today! Luckily, I put my Mustang outside and pulled the truck inside and worked in a cooler environment! The carpet installation was a little more tedious than I thought it was going to be, mainly due to the gas pedal and steering column floor bolts. I work alone, so a small pair of vice grips came in handy. Overall I guess it wasn't that bad.

I didn't get to drive it though, the carpet took most of the day.

As far as that 78 tire dmack, there's only one tire that has that, and it's on the right front. When I bought the truck, one tire was shot and discount tire gave me a tire. At that time I didn't care what kind of tire it was; just needed to get it rolling!

I took measurements of the stance as it is measured from middle of fender opening to the floor:

Front Right: 29.5" P235/78 (oddball tire)
Front Left: 30" P235/70

Right and left rear: 26 3/8" with P235/70's

As for the steering wheel which came out of an Impala, I may just get a nice wrap to tie the color into the scheme of things. Otherwise, I'm pleased the way my cab is looking Eventually I'll get a nice steering wheel.
Thanks everyone!
