I know it is more weight and more work but it will have a much better chance of reaching it's destination in a usable condition. I myself would pay a little extra for shipping to get it undamaged.

The packing store packed it for me, they did a good job actually, FedEx took responsibility for it and gave me the shipping money back, but thats all they gave me...oh well...need a piece of trim now though
