First thing I did today was go shopping. Turned out to be very rewarding. I went down to Eagle Creek, a small community about a 25 min drive south of me.
I met a real friendly car guy down there that had assorted projects around his shop. Mostly VW buses, but some other interesting projects as well. I bought a very nice fleetside tailgate from him and while we were talking trucks and parts I mentioned needing a custom option bench seat bottom. Yeah, that's right, after all my looking here and there and asking here on the forum, he had one in great shape and NO broken springs. Happy day for me
I see a set of bucket seats in the near future.
I also blasted my radiation support last weekend and sprayed a little rust inhibitor in the places most susceptible to rust. I'll spray some epoxy on it tomorrow if the rain holds off.
