I have '01 literature specific to HD's and published values are 300hp/360tq. Internet searches may say 300-325hp but it varied depending on application. for example, yukons were rated at 325. An 01 HD rating from Chevrolet/GMC is 300. The 5.3 in that year is 285hp in the pickups. Just trying to be informative here.
