Might I suggest you have some sort of cost figured for replacing missing parts or gauges.

You make a very valid point. The price of $300.00 will get you a complete restored gauge cluster. I try to buy as many cores as I think I will need to accommodate any non working gauges, cracked lens, etc.
If I had to place a dollar amount on a working gauge, it would be $20.00 - $25.00. That would be the same for a good usable lens. Speedometers are a little more. I recently sold a speedometer for a 62 for $50.00. It was a nice clean working part and the customer was happy with that price.
