I'm chain guy too man! I use them on my Honda Accord when I need to get up to my ski condo. The road gets ICY. I've seen full-sized, diesel 4x4's over on the side....who had given up. With chains on though, my Honda is (so far) unstoppable.
Why was the guy being pulled on the gas at all? Oh well...glad your truck is OK and after that incident, the collider will remember next time.
