Okay, I finally bit the bullet and started really looking at the truck today. Wanted to get a list of body parts that need attention as well as the wiring (noticed so strange stuff). So, let's do a couple posts with pics of what I found starting in the drivers door area. The drivers door has rust through on the forward end where it contacts the seal, and the lip that holds the seal is completely gone in that area. Not sure if I can weld in a new lip or if it will take a whole rocker. Just above the forward end of the rocker, in the door jam, there is a small (less than a dime) rust hole.
And finally, you can see the cab corner is pretty well rotted out.
