Just wondering since I saw this last year on the Power Tour. Have you ever noticed gas coming out of the cap on hard acceleration? I was following a guy last June on the tour and everytime he nailed it he would loose a bunch of gas. It would just pour out of the tank. I finally cought up to him and told him. He was like what! His buddy stood behind the car and when he took off it left a nice puddle in the parking lot.
Just something to check on.

That's from having a bad gas cap. My '72 Cutlass has the same style fuel tank, with a good gas cap, and has never leaked a drop of gas out the back.
