Re: 51' 3100 build in PA New to Site

AD51, thanks man, you got a thread or pics? my 51' was my first ever build. I knew nothing diving into. I never changed my own brakes prior. So it was all new to me. Had no tools, hardly anywhere to work on it, luckily my neighbor let me use his garage until I finally got mine cleaned out. Would drive 100 miles and work on it all weekend, then drive back to pittsburgh. Still do the same now. But moral of it is, if you got the desire to build and drive it good for you. Wish more people had the drive in them. Not much more satisfaction than saving these oldies from their graves. I got a little deep with it as I have 13 cars and trucks from the late 40's-50's. Most need lots of work, but atleast I have them in a safe place. Now if I can just juggle my money and get roofs over every one of them. Glad you enjoy my thread.
