My buddy knew I was looking for one back in 2012 and saw what looked to be a very nice '68 long bed clear over in Fruitland, Idaho. After some calls to the owner and based on two photos in a Craigslist ad, I committed to buying it. He gave me first chance since I called first over a couple of other closer buyers. The next weekend we left early and braved the weather forecast to drive get it in his Subaru. The freeway was closed due to snow about half way, so we took a long snowing detour around and back to the freeway. I bought it for the 91 year old owner, and I drove it home. Total trip with ice, snow, bad weather was 18 hours... So worth it, though.. Got it for a great price...
